Corporate responsive web design
Corporate web redesign for the Barcelona Macula Foundation: Research for Vision. The main motivation behind this organization is to conduct and support research into diseases of the retina and macula that cause blindness and have no effective treatment, in order to restore or prevent loss of vision.
After few years, the old BMF web needed an update in terms of UX and design to encourage new users make donations to this organization, as well as provide high quality content to new researchers and collaborators.
This site also contains a built-in e-commerce, called “Sons Of Our Planet” where anyone can buy printed or digital versions of photos taken by Dr. Jordi Monés, director of the BMF, that he’s taken on his trips around the world, as a new way to contribute to the foundation.
The design of the new BMF’s web needed to be easy to use, attractive and clean, causing emotional impact on every user surfing the site, facilitating new donations to the organization.
This project carried at Ondho, was designed in Adobe Illustrator and developed with WordPress and Woocommerce, as the organization needed a constant update of all contents, including news and photos.
